OICT Launches Thesis Archiving System for Research Access | The Envergan

The Office of Information and Communication Technology formally released the Thesis Archiving System on September 18, 2025, in accordance with providing a centralized and streamlined management of manuscripts in various departments and offices.

In line with this, the thesis repository system will serve as the primary platform for numerous features such as e-copies of thesis manuscripts, downloading and uploading manuscript files, and serving as a reliable source of future research references. Students can use the system to view and search manuscripts via author, year, and keywords.

Additionally, the landing page will showcase recently uploaded theses in line with the needs of students and researchers. The system integrates a program that prioritizes ease of use and organization. The implementation will be mandatory for all units to ensure consistency and accessibility.

The demonstration was led by Mr. Aldwin M. Ilumin, the CCS Department Head, who discussed the necessary information and considered additional support and recommendations from the attendees. For now, the Thesis Repository will be available to college students, with plans to expand access to basic education in the near future.
