Students of Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation Candelaria, Inc. strengthened their emergency response preparedness through a Basic Life Support (BLS) and Standard First Aid Orientation held on November 6–7, 2025, at the EMRC.

The two-day training aimed to build participants’ competence in addressing medical emergencies through both theoretical discussions and practical demonstrations. Resource speakers from the Quezon Provincial Health Office (QPHO) — Mr. Carlo Cyzar Lavadia, Mr. Christian Jay Amion, Mr. Jan Kevin Untivero, Mr. Junil Nicolas Rejano I, Ms. Aine Jean Cantomayor, and Mr. Jevin T. Uy — led lectures and demonstrations on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound management, fracture stabilization, and other essential life-saving procedures.

The orientation was organized through the collaboration of MICE—Forbes Events and Grandeur Events of the College of Hospitality Management, under the supervision of Ms. Asheila O. Tarranco, with assistance from Nurse Maria Liza Vallarta.
