Enverga University Candelaria held its 1st Convocation for the school year 2024-2025


Enverga University Candelaria held its 1st Convocation for the school year 2024-2025, a ceremony that honors the blood, sweat, and tears of the senior high school students in their academic journey, at the gymnasium, October 21.



The program started with the introduction of the program’s master of ceremony, Lois Franchezka Orioste and Therax Dennyrey Rozol. Following this are the Doxology, National Anthem, and the University Hymn, led by Himig Enverga Candelaria.



The event was officially started by Mr. Jonathan Villaruz with his heartfelt speech. Then, Dean of Studies, Dr. Crystal Quintana, shared an awe-inspiring message to the students that is relatable and inspiring.



The ceremony continued with a colorful and lively sing and dance intermission of Teatro Enverga Candelaria.



Moreover, Ms. Angela Janelle Silang, the guest speaker for the ceremony, gave her inspiring message as she emphasized the phrase “true empowerment comes from within” where she recalls her journey as a student.



The event was followed by the awarding of the guest speaker presented by Dr. Crystal Quintana, Mr. Jonathan Villacruz, Mr. Philip C. Dimaculangan, and Mr. Gemar Santos.



The most awaited part of the program was then held. The awarding of Grade 11 Achievers, presented by their teachers, marched on the stage arms to arms with their parents to get the fruit of their hard work.



Then, the awarding of the cleanest and model section was held. Grade 11 Sinope and Grade 12 Alderamin won the cleanest section. Afterwards, Grade 11 Phobos and Grade 12 Altair won the model section.



Afterwards, the Awarding of Grade 12 Achievers was held.



The event was formally closed by Assistant Principal, Mr. Philip C. Dimaculangan, with his brief yet impactful speech.
