In celebration of World Teachers' Day, Candelaria Quezon People Council (CQPC) hosted a special event to honor teachers from both public and private schools in Candelaria, Quezon. The event took place on October 4 at Greener Pastures Events Place.

With the theme “Empowering Educators: Strengthening Resilience, Building Sustainability,” this program

was organized through the initiative of CQPC President Mr. Froilan Remo, in collaboration with the officers from Candelaria West Teachers Association (CANDWESTA), Candelaria East District School Personnel Association (CEDSPA), and Candelaria Private Schools Association (CAPRISA).

Provincial Governor Dra. Helen Tan, Municipal Mayor Ogie Suayan, Municipal Vice Mayor Macky Boongaling and several councilors also expressed their support and appreciation in this special event.

The program also featured various performances and concluded with the presentation of Gawad Guro 2024 awards, recognizing outstanding educators from the three organizations.
