Athletes from the CCST Department gathered today, September 20, at the university's gymnasium for the tryouts of the upcoming Sports and Cultural Fest 2024.

The department's athletes showed up early in the morning to showcase their determination and talent in their respective sports, with eagerness to clench victory.

The tryouts were facilitated by the department's sports committees and professors, ensuring the smooth flow of the screening.

Screening for basketball, badminton, and table tennis was conducted inside the gymnasium, while tryouts for volleyball and sepak takraw proceeded outdoors. Chess and Mobile Legends tryouts were done in the university's lobby and inside the computer laboratory, respectively.

Each athlete demonstrated exceptional talent with a fierce desire to be a part of the roster and deliver the department's aim of excellence and victory this year.

"We are committed to achieving excellence and showcasing the CCST Department's full potential in Sportsfest 2024," said CCS Governor, Ms. Noreen Caalam.

Despite the brief halt due to the mass, the tryouts went on until 1 pm in the afternoon.

The results were released right after the conclusion of the tryouts.
