EUC Sentro ng Dalub-Isipan, the psychology organization of EUC, held its 2nd Pinning and Candle Lighting Ceremony for 4th-year AB Psychology students on September 9, 2024, at the EUC Gymnasium.

With the theme "Pillars of Insights: Honoring the Commitment and Excellence of Senior Psychology Students," the event commenced with a thanksgiving mass. This was followed by the procession of 4th-year psychology students, accompanied by their parents and guardians, faculty members, administrators, and guest speakers.

The ceremony officially opened with remarks from Ms. Vernie R. Mercado, the head of the CTELA department. Shortly after, Mr. Liandro Serrano, Director of OSAS, introduced the guest speaker, Ms. Niña Mikaela Patasin, CHRA, RPM, who ranked among the top 10 in the 2024 Psychometrician Board Licensure Examination. Ms. Patasin shared her inspiring personal journey, and a certificate of appreciation was presented to her after her talk.

Ms. Lovely Princess Villar, EUC-SDI Adviser, then took the stage to explain the significance of the pinning and candle-lighting ceremonies. The pinning ceremony followed, with 41 psychology students successfully receiving their pins.

The preamble and candle-lighting were presided over by the Vice President of EUC-SDI, Mr. Paul Aldrich Pabitu. A message of gratitude was delivered by the EUC-SDI President, Mr. Joshua Thaddeus Guerrero.

To conclude the event, Mr. Gaspar Hector Tapire gave the closing remarks, followed by the singing of the batch song, “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus, and a picture-taking session. Mr. John Rey Breboneria served as the Master of Ceremony throughout the event.
